Orders ship Monday–Friday within 1–3 business days from our Sunshine Coast, QLD warehouse. We primarily use Australia Post for delivery, and occasionally trusted international couriers for overseas orders.

  • 🚀 Priority Express - Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 12 pm. Orders after 12 pm will be the first to leave our warehouse the next business day with Australia Post Express. Perfect for urgent orders or special events.
  • 📦 Parcel Delivery - Packages are left in a safe place if available; no signature required.

Returns Policy

AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND RETURNS

CHANGE OF MIND POLICY

We take pride in the quality of our pieces and are here to help if something isn’t quite right.

A Little Lacey offers an exchange or store credit on full-priced items when a return request is lodged within 30 days of dispatch.

Sale items are eligible for store credit only and are not eligible for exchange.

Refunds are not offered unless an item is deemed faulty and cannot be repaired or replaced in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

RETURNS PROCESS – AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

Return requests must be lodged within 30 days of dispatch.

START A RETURN

Once approved, full return instructions will be provided via email. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Please allow 2–4 business days for processing once your return reaches our warehouse.

Exchange of Size

We currently offer one direct size exchange per order on eligible full-priced items only, for the identical item originally purchased. If the exchanged item is returned, a store credit will be issued.

Size exchanges are shipped back to you with FREE standard shipping, and new tracking details will be emailed once dispatched.

Exchange of Colour or Style

If you would like to change to a different style or colour, please select STORE CREDIT when lodging your return. Store credit is issued as a digital gift card via email, valid for 12 months, and can be used at checkout to place a new order. The balance may be used across multiple orders until it is fully redeemed.

Store credit allows you to select a different style, colour, or item and can be used across multiple orders until the balance reaches $0.

Products Ineligible for Return
  • FINAL SALE items (priced to clear) are not eligible for return unless faulty.
  • Sample packs and seconds
  • Hair Accessories (for hygiene reasons).
Terms & Conditions

Items must be returned in brand-new, saleable condition — unworn, unwashed, with all original tags attached and in original packaging (including any dust bags or hygiene seals). Returns showing any signs of wear, damage, scents, stains, alterations, or pet or human hair will be rejected and returned to the customer.

Returns for sizing, fit, colour, or styling preferences are considered change of mind. This includes orders placed for multiple dresses to check sizing or colours. Minor variations in colour, lace pattern, or floral print placement are normal and are not considered faults. If you require clarification or exact matches for events or photos, please contact us prior to ordering.

Each order is subject to our Returns Policy. Additional orders placed due to time constraints are eligible for store credit upon return.

International Returns (Excluding NZ)

Begin your return by emailing support@alittlelacey.com.au within 30 days of delivery.

For international orders, free exchanges aren’t offered - you're welcome to return items at your expense for store credit.

Sale Items

Items marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned or exchanged unless found faulty under Australian Consumer Law. FINAL SALE will show on the product photo.

Full priced items purchased with an automatic discount code (eg. Sitewide 20% Off Sale) remain eligible for a return for store credit.

Order Cancellations

Our warehouse team processes orders promptly to ensure fast delivery. Once an order has been processed, it cannot be cancelled, so we kindly ask that you review your order carefully before completing your purchase and contact us if you have any questions.

We are unable to accept cancellations for change of mind, duplicate orders, ordering errors, or overspending once an order has been processed.

If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to cancel it and issue store credit for the order value. A 5% cancellation fee will apply to cover processing costs (10% if payment was made using Afterpay).

Incorrect Item Received

We’re sorry for the mix-up! While rare, mistakes can happen. Please inspect your order upon arrival and notify us at support@alittlelacey.com.au within 5 days of delivery.

We will provide a pre-paid return label for you to send the item back. Once your parcel has been lodged with the postal carrier, we will ship the correct item to you.

Faulty Items (Australian Consumer Law)

We stand by the quality of our pieces and will always resolve genuine faults in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Please inspect your order upon arrival and notify us at support@alittlelacey.com.au as soon as reasonably possible if you believe an item is faulty. Even if your purchase is intended for a gift or a future event, we strongly recommend checking your order on arrival.

If you believe your item is faulty, please lodge a request via our Returns Portal with clear photos and a brief description of the issue within 7 days of delivery, or as soon as reasonably possible after the fault is identified.

All faulty item claims are assessed in line with Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Depending on the nature of the fault, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund (for example, a refund in the case of a major failure).

Where a return is required, the item must be posted back promptly after approval (generally within 7 days) so we can complete our assessment and resolution.

WHAT IS NOT CONSIDERED A FAULT

The following are not considered faults under Australian Consumer Law and are treated as change of mind:

  • Minor variations in colour due to screen settings, lighting, or photography
  • Natural variations in lace, embroidery, tulle, floral prints, or fabric placement
  • Slight differences in measurements within industry-accepted tolerances
  • Fit, sizing, colour, or styling preferences
  • Creasing or flattening of fabrics (such as tulle) that occurs during transit and can be corrected with steaming
  • Damage caused by wear, washing, alteration, improper handling, or failure to follow care instructions
  • General wear and tear or damage occurring after the item has been worn
