Priority Express Order before 12 pm AEST for same-day dispatch. This is a priority packing service and does not guarantee same-day delivery.
Parcel Delivery Parcels may be left in a safe place if available. No signature is required.

Returns Policy

Australia & New Zealand Returns

We want you to feel happy with your purchase and are here to help if something is not quite right.

Return requests must be lodged within 30 days of ordering so we can review your request and provide the next steps.

Full-priced items: Eligible for direct size exchange or store credit.

Sale items: Eligible for store credit only.

Final sale items: Cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.

Once your return request is approved, full return instructions will be provided by email. Approved returns must be received at our warehouse within 14 days of approval. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. Please allow 2 to 4 business days for processing once your return reaches our warehouse.

Return Conditions

Items must be returned in brand-new, saleable condition. They must be unworn, unwashed, with all original tags attached and in original packaging where applicable.

Returns may be rejected if they show signs of wear, damage, scents, stains, alterations, or pet or human hair. If a return is rejected, it may be sent back to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Exchange & Store Credit Rules

Full-priced items are eligible for one direct size exchange per order, for the same item in a different size only. Approved size exchanges are sent back with free standard shipping, and tracking details will be emailed once dispatched.

If the exchanged item is returned again, a store credit will be issued instead, provided it meets our return conditions. This store credit may be used towards a new purchase, but any item purchased with this store credit will be considered final sale for change-of-mind returns and cannot be returned again unless faulty.

If you would like to change to a different style or colour, please select store credit when lodging your return. Store credit is issued as a digital gift card by email, is valid for 12 months, and can be used across multiple orders until the balance reaches $0.

For standard store credit returns, items purchased using store credit may be returned for store credit one further time only, provided they meet our return conditions. Any further items purchased using that same store credit will not be eligible for another change-of-mind return, exchange, or store credit.

Items marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Items marked as SALE may be returned for store credit only. Full-priced items purchased during an automatic discount promotion, such as a sitewide sale or Black Friday sale, remain eligible for return for store credit.

International Returns (Excluding NZ)

Please begin your return by emailing support@alittlelacey.com.au within 14 days of delivery.

For international orders, free exchanges are not offered. Eligible items may be returned at your expense for store credit.

Order Cancellations

Our warehouse team begins processing orders quickly to ensure fast delivery. Once an order has begun processing, it cannot be cancelled, so we kindly ask that you review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

We are unable to accept cancellations for change of mind, duplicate orders, ordering errors, or overspending once an order has begun processing.

If your order has not yet begun processing, we may be able to cancel it and issue store credit for the order value. A 5% cancellation fee applies to cover processing costs, or 10% for Afterpay orders.

Incorrect Item Received

We’re sorry for the mix-up. While rare, mistakes can happen. Please inspect your order on arrival and notify us at support@alittlelacey.com.au within 5 days of delivery.

We will provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item. Once your parcel has been lodged with the postal carrier, we will send the correct item to you.

We stand by the quality of our pieces and will always resolve genuine faults in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Please inspect your order on arrival and notify us at support@alittlelacey.com.au as soon as reasonably possible if you believe an item is faulty. Even if your purchase is for a future event or gift, we strongly recommend checking it when it arrives.

If you believe your item is faulty, please lodge a request through our Returns Portal with clear photos and a brief description of the issue within 7 days of delivery, or as soon as reasonably possible after the fault is identified.

All faulty item claims are assessed in line with Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the nature of the fault, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund where required.

If a return is required, the item must be posted back promptly after approval, generally within 7 days, so we can complete our assessment and resolution.

What Is Not Considered a Fault

  • Minor colour differences caused by screen settings, lighting, or photography
  • Natural variations in lace, embroidery, tulle, floral prints, or fabric placement
  • Slight measurement differences within accepted tolerances
  • Fit, sizing, colour, or styling preferences
  • Creasing or flattening during transit that can be corrected with steaming
  • Damage caused by wear, washing, alteration, improper handling, or failure to follow care instructions
  • General wear and tear or damage after the item has been worn
