Orders ship Monday–Friday within 1–3 business days from our Sunshine Coast, QLD warehouse. We primarily use Australia Post for delivery, and occasionally trusted international couriers for overseas orders.

Returns Policy

AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND RETURNS

CHANGE OF MIND POLICY

A Little Lacey offers an Exchange or Store Credit on full-priced items when a return request is lodged within 30 days of the order being dispatched by us.

Exchanges can be made for the same style and price via our returns portal. If you want a different style or colour, choose STORE CREDIT in the portal.

Please note we do not provide refunds unless an item is determined to be faulty.

RETURNS PROCESS – AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND
  1. LODGE: Submit your return via the Returns Portal within 30 days of dispatch. Approval will be emailed within 1–2 business days (check junk/spam).
  2. SEND your return including proof of purchase. We don't provide return labels - we recommend sending via tracked post as the parcel is your responsibility until it arrives.
  3. Your parcel must ARRIVE at our warehouse within 14 days of the approval email date. Items received late will be returned to sender at the sender’s cost.
  4. PROCESSING: Allow 2–4 business days after the parcel reaches our warehouse.

EXCHANGES

We can currently only offer a direct exchange of size for the identical item you ordered. One exchange per order is offered. If you wish to return the exchanged item a Store Credit will be issued. Size exchanges will be automatically shipped back to you with FREE standard shipping. We will email your new tracking details. Please allow enough time before your event for the exchange to arrive.

STORE CREDIT

Store Credit will be issued as a digital gift card via email. (valid for 12 months). Apply the code at checkout before confirming your order. Can be used across multiple orders until the balance is $0.

PRODUCTS INELIGIBLE FOR RETURN
  • Sale items (priced to clear), unless faulty. Please consider your purchase carefully.
  • Sample packs and seconds
  • Hair Accessories (for hygiene reasons).
TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Items must be in saleable, new condition - unworn, unwashed, with all original tags attached and in original packaging (including any dust bags/hygiene seals).

• Items with wear, damage, scents, stains, alterations, or pet/human hair will be rejected and returned to the customer.

• Returns for sizing, fit, colour, or styling preferences are treated as change of mind.

• We are not responsible for duplicate orders, incorrect purchases, or orders placed by other household members.

• Minor variations in colour, lace pattern, or floral print placement are normal and not faults. Contact us before ordering if you need clarification or exact matches for events/photos.

• Each order is subject to our Returns Policy. Extra orders placed due to time constraints are eligible for a store credit upon return.

International Returns (Excluding NZ)

Begin your return by emailing support@alittlelacey.com.au within 30 days of delivery.

For international orders, free exchanges aren’t offered - you're welcome to return items at your expense for store credit.

Sale Items

Items in the Sale Category or any Sale sub-category are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged unless found faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Full priced items purchased with an automatic discount code (eg. Sitewide 20% Off Sale) remain eligible for return.

Order Cancellations

Our warehouse team processes orders quickly to ensure fast delivery. Once an order is processed, it cannot be cancelled, so please review your order carefully and reach out with any questions before completing your purchase. We are not responsible for overspending, duplicate orders, errors, or change of mind.

If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to cancel it and issue store credit for the order amount. A 5% cancellation fee will be applied to cover processing costs for any cancelled order (10% if payment was made with Afterpay).

FAULTY ITEMS (AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW)

Please inspect your order upon arrival and notify us at support@alittlelacey.com.au within 7 days of delivery of any faults. Even if the item you purchased is for a gift or an event at a later date we strongly recommend you check your purchase as soon as it arrives.

• If you believe your item is faulty, lodge a request via the Returns Portal with photos and a brief description within 7 days of delivery (or as soon as reasonably possible).

• We will assess the item and, in line with the ACL, provide a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the fault (e.g., a refund for a major failure).

Please post back your faulty item promptly (within 7 days) in order to be eligible for an exchange or refund.

Incorrect Item Received

We’re sorry for the mix-up! While rare, mistakes can happen. Please inspect your order upon arrival and notify us at support@alittlelacey.com.au within 5 days of delivery.

We will provide a pre-paid return label for you to send the item back. Once your parcel has been lodged with the postal carrier, we will ship the correct item to you.
